Who we are and what this covers
Cleanser.ai ("Cleanser.ai," "we," "us") operates the website at cleanser.ai. This policy covers personal information we collect through the website, the contact form and email with us.
Client data is different. When an organization hires Cleanser.ai to cleanse, enrich or consolidate its records, we process that data on the client's instructions as its service provider, under a written agreement with that client. That agreement, not this policy, governs client data. If your information is in a client's records, please contact that organization first.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form we collect your first and last name, work email, company, job title and, if you choose, a phone number. We also collect what you tell us about your data: what you want to clean, approximate record count, where the data lives, residency needs, timeline, whether you want the free data-health audit, and your message. If you email us, we receive what you send.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical request data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, referring page and the time of the request. We use it to run and secure the site.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run third-party tracking or advertising scripts. The home page stores one setting in your browser's session storage (whether you chose the Basic or Detailed diagram); it is cleared when you close the tab. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from bots and abuse. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them.
How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry and, if you ask for it, to set up and deliver the free data-health audit.
- To discuss, quote and provide our services to you or your organization.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use the information you send through the website to train AI models.
The free data-health audit
If you request the audit, we agree with you in writing how a sample of up to 10,000 records will be shared, which columns are included, and how long we keep it. We use the sample only to perform the audit and report the results to you, and we delete it when the audit is complete unless you ask us in writing to keep it.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond, to manage our relationship with you or your organization, and to meet legal, accounting and security obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it. Technical request logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Security
The website is served only over HTTPS. Submissions travel encrypted in transit, and access to inquiries is limited to people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to confirm whether we process your personal information, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising or profiling (we do none of these). Residents of Texas, California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, and people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, have rights under their local laws, including the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to a data protection authority.
To make a request, email hello@cleanser.ai. We will verify the request, reply within 45 days (or the period your law requires), and not discriminate against you for using your rights. You may use an authorized agent where your law allows. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will answer the appeal within the time your law requires.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests to reply to inquiries and secure the site, on steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, and on legal obligations.
Where information is processed
Cleanser.ai is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children
The website is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will give notice on the website before it takes effect.
